Monture en noyer ; pontet de sous garde, calotte et coffre en laiton fondu gravé du nom de la Manufacture de Saint-Etienne et d'un « L » couronné.

Platine à silex, baguette, canon rond lisse marqué d'une couronne, de lettres (peu visibles) et du chiffre « 81 », longueur 18,8 cm, longueur avec queue de culasse 21,4 mcm, crochet de ceinture, prévu à l'origine pour les Dragons, en fer (remplacé anciennement). Baguette à tête de clou.

Longueur totale du pistolet : 33,5 cm.
Calibre : 18 mm.

Très bon état de conservation, oxydation récente des parties en acier à nettoyer.
