Uniform in dark blue satin cloth, almost black, closed on the chest with a row of nine large 1854 uniform buttons (half-rounded, gilded in burnished and matte finish, stamped and embossed on a background of flags with a shield topped with a star) with a diameter of 21 mm (one button is not of this model).
Dark blue satin cloth collar embroidered in threads, gold sequins, and paillettes with two rows of oak leaves, bordered at the top with a scalloped rod; it is cut in a rounded shape at the front. It is lined with a soft leather and lined with dark blue, almost black velvet.
The sleeves end in straight cuffs, made of the same cloth as the tunic and embroidered with threads, gold sequins, and paillettes with two rows of oak leaves, bordered at the top with a scalloped rod.
Shoulder loops made of braided trim with gold threads, sequins, and paillettes. Each loop is topped with two small uniform buttons measuring 14 mm in diameter.
At the bottom of the back, a series of oak and laurel branches is embroidered with two uniform buttons.
At the bottom of each reverse of the tails, a gold embroidered insignia on blue cloth is sewn, representing a winged thunderbolt of the staff.
