ÉPÉE DE COUR EN MARCASSITE D'ACIER À FACETTES, ANCIENNE MONARCHIE, règne de Louis XVI, vers 1776.

Épée entièrement en marcassite d'acier avec branche de garde, pommeau et poignée travaillés en facettes. Clavier représentant un soleil rayonnant avec couronnes de perles taillées à facettes. Croisière à annelets. Lame blanche triangulaire, longueur 79,5 cm. Complète de son fourreau en bois recouvert de galuchat blanc à trois garnitures en acier avec agrafe-crochet de suspension en fer ajouré.

Assez non état de conservation, fracture au bas du fourreau juste au-dessus de la bouterolle, le galuchat est usé sur les bords avec quelques manques.
