OFFICER BELT PLATE OF THE KING'S BODYGUARD, probably the first model around 1760, Royal Military Household, Former Monarchy. 5562

Gilt bronze plate measuring 6.5 cm high and 8.7 cm wide. It is smooth, simply bordered by a line simulating a frame molding. In the center, a silvered bronze emblem depicting the face of the Sun on a radiant background is riveted (diameter 3.9 cm). At the back, a pronged bar and a hook are soldered.
