Eight-sided thunder barrel, marked “1817”, length 1.027 m. Caliber 17 mm. Walnut frame with long barrel. Brass thumb piece modeled on the Gardes-du-Corps du Roi in stamped brass modified by removing the fleur-de-lys, with the center of the old royal coat of arms engraved with the owner's initials "J B". All brass fittings attached to the mount by steel springs. Brass underguard cut in the shape of a stylized fleur-de-lis. Drum plate signed “Manuf Royale de Versailles”. Iron wand.
