Entièrement en cuivre rosé.

Garde à cinq branches formant une coquille dessinant une grande palmettes appelée "Garde de Bataille". Poignée en bois recouvert de veau à triple filigrane de cuivre.
H 17,3 cm.

Lame à deux pans creux et dos plat. Elle est gravée postérieurement d'un côté de l'inscription «GRENADIERS A CHEVAL DE LA GARDE DU ROI» dans un cartouche rectangulaire terminé par une fleur de lys; et de l'autre de trophées d'armes et de de feuillages; elle a été bleuie et dorée postérieurement.
L 93 cm, L au talon 2,8 cm, E 0,8 cm.

Fourreau en cuir noir verni à trois garnitures en laiton rosé découpées aux extrémités en festons, pitons de bélière en laiton rosé, anneaux en fer. Dar en fer de forme ovale.
L 95,2 cm.
