FER DE PIQUE, 1814.

Fer symétrique de 34,5cm de longueur, dont 13,7cm de soie, adaptable à une hampe à sabot de 276 cm, portant un drapeau tricolore.
Fer frappé des lettres 'LD' identifiant le fournisseur.

Rare objet dit 'Pique de Régnier', du nom de l'inventeur, fabriqué puis distribué à certaines compagnies de Garde Nationale dépourvue de fusils afin de résister à l'invasion des Alliés en 1814.

Un article très complet étudie cette arme dans le numéro 105 de Tradition et dans le 4ème fascicule de 1970 des cahiers Ariès.

Très bon état de conservation.
