Monture de laiton à plateau et quatre branches, calotte, poignée de bois et cuir filigranée à virole. Garde poinçonnée de «VERSAILLES» et du poinçon ovale au «B» de Nicolas-Noël Boutet, entrepreneur de 1800 à septembre 1818.

Lame à deux pans creux ; dos gravé Manufacture Impériale de Klingenthal mai 1812 (date effacée mais lisible), avec le poinçon de J.L Krantz inspecteur de mars 1812 à août 1814, et, celui du contrôleur de seconde classe, J.A Bisch de février 1809 à août 1824. Longueur 95,9 cm, largeur au talon 3,6 cm, épaisseur 1 cm.

Fourreau de cuir à triple garniture de laiton avec deux anneaux de bélière (fourreau inchangé pour les dragons depuis l’An IX). Longueur 98 cm.
