HUNTING DAGGER, Second half of the 19th century. 25839
Brass frame. Cruising with double inverted quillons ending in the shape of an oak acorn. Half-spherical cap. Slanted ribbed ebony handle. Brass ferrule. Edged blade, length 29 cm, width at the heel 3.8 cm, richly acid-etched with leaf corollas, boar, deer and hunting trophies (hunting horn, spear, rifle, dagger). Back of the blade engraved with a laurel branch. Remnant of scarlet tie. Black waxed leather scabbard with two brass fittings. Clevis with button in the shape of a tassel for wearing on the belt.
