Fut en carton recouvert de drap noir, hauteur 264 mm; calotte en carton recouvert de drap noir diamètre 165 mm; bordé dans le haut d'un galon de laine blanche de 20 mm de large. Sur la partie avant une ganse composée de six tresses en laine blanche largeur d'environ 22 mm (diamètre de chaque tresse 4 mm), elle est fixée dans le bas d'un bouton d'uniforme demi-sphérique en laiton argenté de 19 mm de diamètre, retenant une cocarde métallique peinte tricolore diamètre 70 mm.
L'arrière est garni d'un couvre-nuque en cuir ciré hauteur de 122 mm.
À l'arrière un petit bouton d'uniforme maintient une ganse en laine blanche.
À l'avant la partie inférieure est bordée d'un cordonnet de laine blanche de 5 mm de diamètre le long de la visière.

Visière ronde en cuir large de 64 mm.

Coiffe intérieure en cuir découpé en dents de loup.

Couvre-shako en toile ciré de très grande rareté.

Très bon état.

Couvre-shako en état moyen avec un manque à l'avant.
